Our LegacyJames Rose came to Toledo, Ohio, in 1954 to attend Pharmacy School at the University of Toledo. Twenty years later and with a family to feed, he took a chance and founded SynTech Products in the basement of his house. He sold specialty chemicals to areas of heavy industry that included: power plants, both coal fired and nuclear, paper mills, steel mills and other types of manufacturing. Chemical sales quickly grew and James added other types of environmental services to the product mix and four more employees by 1979.
James moved the company out of his basement and into our current location. SynTech Products came to employ over twenty people. The environmental services portion of the business was sold in April of 2017. Vicki Rose, the second generation of the Rose family, has assumed the mantle, and with that a new name, SPC Specialty Products. SPC Specialty Products is a Woman Owned Business and serves the following sectors: Manufacturing, Energy, Municipalities, Institutions, Transportation and Health. |
